Dude, my heart is beating hella fast right now. Please tell me it's not so.
I stayed with the Pappas' and got to know them real well. Out of the two,
he was the mellow one. Please tell me that's not true.

Imagine how scary this is... You're done skating the vert ramp and Tas' pickup can only
hold one in the front so me and Ben had to rock/paper/scissors for shotgun. So if you lose,
you're in the back of the pick up and can see Tas thru the cabin window pounding Jack while driving 90 mph listening to Slayer blasting-lol The drive was an hour away so when we'd get to his house he would be pounded. Scariest shit ever. Sometimes, we'd just pay for shotgun. This was like everyday too. I was very lucky.

Haven't seen them since I rode for Platinum. Actually saw Tas briefly one night.
I heard alot of misfortunate things happened to them. First I heard Ben fell really hard
and lost vision in one of his eyes. That's so fucking sad cause he had the BEST STYLE on vert
I have ever seen. Hands down he was on his way to being the best. Then I heard Ben got
involved in some shit while Tas was in the states. So I think it was Ben who couldn't leave
the country. Those dudes are nuts but got the biggest hearts and showed me a lot of love.

Lakai Limited Footwear Announced it's Team on January 10. They announced that they had aquired Rick Howard, Mike Carroll, Cairo Foster, Scott Johnston, Rob Welsh, Anthony Poppalardo, and Jeff Lenoce. According to the press release " Lakai's foundation will contribute further inspiration to footwear and skateboarding." Like we haven't heard that one before! Look for Lakai Limited Footwear product to be available April 1, 2000.

If he was bringing in 100 grams from the U.S. he is probably fucked. His sentencing was in 1999 and I wouldn't be surprised if he was still in there. Depends on Australian laws and his lawyer I guess
