Title: Daniel Cardone appreciation
Post by: daboss on May 14, 2007, 10:58:04 AM
The dude rips. I saw him at the Vans Pool Party over the weekend and he's pretty much got glue foot and has one of the most amazing styles ever. Anyone else?

I don't know about style, but the guy rips so hard, actually he's been ripping for ages. Too bad you only see him at contests. I remember he had an interview about ten years ago in Monster Magazine and he was already pretty good back then.

He had a load of street stuff in early Kingpins and Puzzles (no. 25 was the last one they sold).  Seems to me that only recently he started showing up at bowl contests and whatnot, which was a surprise for me anyway.

Apparently he recently quit Es for Quiksilver shoes.  Bummer.  He's on Hosoi too - I didn't have him down as a member of the God Squad.

The dude rips. Was lucky to see him skate Corio, old sketchy bowl near my house. Also got so see him flip this through the corner at Bondi.

Can't seem to find that roll-in kickflip from Basel a few years ago. That was insane.

No once gave this guy the time of day about a year ago. I think he is pretty burley and should get a little more coverage for being an ATV.

nah, in spain. him and the rest of the quiksilver guys were judging the contest and gave a small demo before the finals.

daniel cardone has good stuff at the end of this, he skates insanely fast, also chris pfanner has some great shit too, starting at like 6:20 or something.

wow i never heard rodney clarke speak. a few creme ads on the wall back in colombia and now this. european skaters outside of cliche/blueprint never get any coverage in the americas.
