I might get the campus skates as they look pretty nice. just wondering what your thoughts were on them and any of their other skate shoes.
-
Buy vans
-
i don't like vans and most skate shoes to that matter. ive only ever skated nikes and a few pairs of emericas when i first started.
-
The first couple shoes they put out were horrid looking. They took the shelltoes and made them all puffy and big. Gross. I've seen a couple slimmed down adidas with vulcanized soles that looked alright.
-
I havent seen any in real life yet.
The Gonz wears them so they must be awesome, no?
-
Im wearing the Stan smith skate now ,super nice ,comfy grippy and flexable :D :D
-
The Stan Smiths skate are really good.
-
i have the campus st right now and they skate very good
-
tis topic is a prime example of how adidas not having a structured program like nike sb has confused the fuck out of the average consumer.
st/coastal line:
campus, superskate hi/low/vulk,slipons and other crappy shoes noone cares about
these are available everywhere
skate line:
superstar,stan smith,gazelle
these are only available at skate shops and adidas outlets.
the og skate line was way too thick and bulky, the first few runs of both were by modern standards out of touch.
the newer ones are better but so far the gazelle is the only shoe slim enough for me to consider skating.
-
campus st best she ever and definitely worth the money

the st stuff is skate friendly but not really a "skate" shoe.
-
why has this thread reached 2 pages?
-
og superskates were good...regular campus is good too....reg stan smith good too....i'm not too cool w. the skate stuff....the st's are o.k...i think you can often get 'em cheap...
-
campus and gazelles have not come out yet. They look good busenitz and bachinsky skate them a lot. Word is busenitz is going to have a model of the gazelle in red
-
I've seen alot of the actual "skate line" at adidas outlets. The limited bullshit pretty much blew up in there face, so much for skate shops only. Bachinsky skating that shit doesn't help either.
-
How's the board feel on Campus'? The sole looks really thick, but I kind of want a pair.
-
why that first run was thick and terrible.
skate like boots.
-
shit...looks like they picked up a bunch of duffs from costco and put their own logo on them...
-
get em their good you pussy

I would like to know what the fuck is wrong with Bachinsky? I can see him not really helping Adidas in some people's minds, but as far as hurting them is just beyond me...

The board feel is ok. The sole is actually pretty thin. The grip, however, is not so good and after a while, it sucks.
-
those stan smiths skate really well.
