I think its an excellent idea. i live in an area where there isnt many good skate shops at all so i mostly buy my decks of the internet not knowing what the shape is like; just the width. apparently sites will post the number of each element deck they sell. from now on im just buying elements lol!

perfect way for element to overlook actual brick and mortar shops. yeah, element is truly supporting the shops that support them.  just say no.

if you look on certain blitz decks (IE baker) it will say "B1, B2, B3" ect, indicating the shape.  but element's idea is a bit better.

id proably skate anything between 9-13. but the wheel base etc isnt going to sell me a board alone i need to see the amount of concave the steepness of the nose and tail, element doenst provide me with this this information.

It's not a bad idea man but .... bentmode said it ... You need to see the concave and the kicks as well.  Nobody really buys a shape, do they?  They buy a shape/size/concave, the total package.
