I just found out that I have the opportunity to graduate from school this january, and I'm probably going to take advantage of that. for the past few months or so I've been really interested in traveling around areas of eastern europe and more specifically scandonavia. does anyone have any advice of great cities to check, places where I should avoid or good words in general? I've been looking into denmark and norway the most, and if I like it enough I might just stay for awhile. thanks

How about you give me advice on how to afford a European vacation..
-
heh, the obvious? work, work work, work, and work some more. I'm not going on a real lavish vacation, and although I'm not entirely sure what it's like there I know I can survive off the bare minimum

book them around a month in advance and you can essentially pay nothing but taxes. travelinga round europe can be dirt cheap as long as you can get over here and plan your trips in advance. im studying abroad in rome for the semester but just scored a barcelona round trip for ~80 euro this next week and can get one for 0.01 euro + tax (so about 10 euro one way) when i book for my october break. im gonna hit up amsterdam next week too, but depending on the quality of the hash, may only be skating around in my lucid dreams.

There's a shit load of cheap Euro airlines if you suss out a plan i can probably suss out a cheap flight link for you

It's still dirt cheap but on any Ryan air flight add about 25euro for a bus ride since most of the airports are pretty far away from the city you want to live.

Couchsurfing is a yes as is a bread, water and whiskey diet.
Sleeping on beaches and putting all your shit in train station lockers overnight is also cheaper than hostels.
