Anyone watch these shows? I think they're both prettaaaay pretttayyyy pretttaaayyy good. However, I prefer Man vs. Wild.
Bear Grylls just goes that extra mile to be extra tough...like drinking water out of elephant shit.

When I found out that Man vs. Wild was a fake I thought I was going to cry.

i like survivorman. he's the genuine article. dropped off in the middle of nowhere with next to nothing. he films everything, and runs the show himself. he even does the music! bear comes off as a little too contrived.

I really like the fact that Les is alone for a week...that makes it really gnarly.
But Bear does all this crazy stuff that really isn't necessary...I guess some of his stuff is fake, and he has a crew...but he still does some really neat stuff. I think Bear is just a little more entertaining than Les.

He went on national tv and talked about it cause people were outraged. When he said he was in the desert somewhere, he was really on a hawiian island, straight chillin. Fuck that dude.

never seen man vs wild but, survivor man is way too legit.
personal favorite episode is the one where he's in ontario somewhere living in some remains of a plane and only using one arm in a blizzard. if this bear dude has a crew than he's got absolutely nothing on survivor man.
