wasnt sal barbier hired as zoo team manager and he brought over all the aesthetics dudes (welsh, pepper, kt, clyde, hughes) and then they all were off zoo around the same time (except for KT)? i know welsh and pepper moved on but i never knew about kenny

Jimmy thinks Hughes never rode for Aesthetics. Hughes went over to Zoo around the same time as Barley. Regardless Jimmy thinks Hughes was sick. Especially his Tranny skills.

hughes was supposed to ride for aesthetics, but they pulled the plug when he got on, so he went over to zoo. anyway the guy's awesome wish he'd put out new footage. his element tour part was my favorite one in that video.

A little bit after I started skating, he had a sick crooked grind trick tip for DC right before he stopped riding for them. It was sort of a ridiculous thing to be stoked on, but it was some of the first really good skating I ever saw.

When you seem him skate on video, it looks smooth as fuck. When he skates in person its so much smoother.
I randomly saw him on BART in SF after he was done as a pro. Some friends and I had just finished skating and had our boards and a conversation started.
Basically he said that the grind of pro skating wasn't worth it, and he was over the game. I would bet he had options, but just didn't feel like dealing with it.
