Why some skaters would have to wear 2 tees while skating?

Is it more like a californian thingy?

i wear two t-shirts all the time.  a white one underneath whatever else i wear.  just something i do.

It's not something i've done for a few months, but once the tundra of winter returns i'm all about maximum clothing, seriosuly you think Ol'Dirty wore 4 hoodies for a reason - yeah the reason was he'd just been to Scotland

two in the winter for sure. too hot from skating for a sweater but it is too cold for just one tee

i used to do this when i lived in a more humid climate.  i would leave the house with two t-shirts, when i started to sweat i would take the top one off and skate the rest of the day. by the time i was done the shirt i had on would be pretty drenched, i would take that one off then put the top one back on to go about my business for the rest of the day / night in a dry shirt.

i wear two shirts. just a white under tee. it's just something my dad did, and now i do it. it's really not the heavy nor bothersome. it also works for the above reason.

I know people who do it for the sweat reason. You wear 2 shirts, the bottom one soaks up a ton of sweat and shit, leaving you ok on the surface.
