same sole as the trooper i think, kinda like chukkas but better
-
It's a chukka low replaced by a vox logo. so sad
-
I in all honesty would rather skate a Vox shoe than a Vans shoe from past experiences.
-
There is like little to no creativity behind this. At least put a Vox twist on it.
-
It's gonna sell full price at $44.
So, vox will have over 2 models and 10 colorways to buy for under $45.
That shit is awesome.
-
looks like a slightly higher chukka low...i like them

thats a plus for sure

vox's soles are way better than vans. and the profile is a little taller which makes sense. i'm backing it. and for the record, vans wasn't the first to make a chukka, so every chukka isn't a vans ripoff (they just look like it) :)

saw these like a year ago on some vox rep, they really don't look too bad, i love chukka lows but they don't last for shit, i've been wanting to try a pair of vox's for a while now...
-
I've been wearing the Drehobl 1.5. They skate well.
-
will probably skate good and the price sounds GOOD! not 80euros(110 Dollars) from some vans that wil last one to two weeks...but sad that these are just some another chukka-low rip off!
-
vox is sick but i cant help thinking it is a vans copy
-
i've never skated vox, but at that price, its worth a shot.
-
Just so everyone stops mentioning that the chukka was invented by vans...
http://www.footwearhistory.com/50smens.shtml (http://www.footwearhistory.com/50smens.shtml)
"Chukka Boots: An ankle high boot for men and boys, laced with two sets of eyelets and made of unlined sueded cowhide with thick crepe-rubber soles. Originally worn by polo players, but adopted for general wear in the 1950’s."
"The name is derived from the playing periods of a polo game which are called chukkers."
Everyone acts as if Vans never bit anything from anyone and that they are completely original, but pretty much every shoe they make is a rip of some sort of Clarks of London dress shoe with a vulc sole.
-
hopefully a cheaper more durable chukka
-
Down for E-man..If my shop gets these I will cop em' for sure. The other colorway reminds me of Bobby's First Blood.
-
I really dig that Vox is making decent shoes and putting a sick pricetag on them...really thinking of the customer and it's something that I appreciate.
-
I've never seen Vox's anywhere in Canada unfortunately. Are they cheap on mail order sites as well?
-
cheap is the new fixed gear
That's a trend I'd like to stay around.
-
been finding the drehobl 1.5's for $20
