Apparently their taking pre-orders with a release date of 2/1/10 so i guess its official now, Axion is a real shoe brand, no Brian Wenning's though...

i guess the ones with the orange looking gum soles look the best but dont think i would were them...

I'm actually looking forward to trying out the high tops. My ankles keep telling me they look supportive.
It's a pretty tough time to be starting something up, but the shoes don't look bad to me... if I skated in lows I'd try some of the others, but I'm in a chunky high phase right now.

If the lows are $60, I'd buy the red ones. I think you can never base a company off the first batch of shoes. I think the second season is where we'll see if they know what the hell they are doing.

Besides them being high high tops, I don't really see the resemblance (other than a lot of black and white). I never cared for Braydon's shoes, but these I dig.

Try the vox "Vamps." I'm not even a hightop guy but they were the only model Vox the shop had that I hadn't already skated. I'm liking them, haven't lasted as long as I'd like but they skate good.

Goddamn I love Ross' and TJ Maxx... mostly for jeans and work shirts for the office. It's sick because rummaging through everything is like an epic discovery (for better or for worse), just like the Goodwill except everything's new. Good spot for cheap beanies and socks, too.

Those stores are so good. Last time I was at Ross they were stacked with these old Ipath models. I came home with 4 pairs of Grasshoppers. Goodwill has the craziest finds too. I found this vest with cats all over it recently. It was a big hit at the office Christmas party. I have to go back.

I so want this Axion thing to work but they look cheap as hell. At least they didn't come out with a canvas slip on or an all vulc line. They definitely pay tribute to the originals. Might get the guytop and cut it down if they look better in person.
