Through out the whole thing i thought tom had the most tricks and was always happy. I think it will go to him or david and hopefully nick can go back and get his back tail before someone robs it from him.

I think it's either Tom or David, and out of those two Tom produced much more footage and better tricks-- in my opinion.
That tailslide drop to ledge Tom did was cool.

I've been back and forth between Tom and David since the beginning. Tom obviously had more tricks overall, and seemed to get something good every single day. David definitely did some gnarlier, scarier stuff though...like those Switch 50-50's, the line at Clipper and that fucking awesome line with Switch BS Tail and Nollie Half Cab. I think it could go either way.
So...any of these guys homies recognize your friend's door?

When they both skated the same obstacles, David tended to do the better tricks. The only reason I don't think David is the clear winner is that Tom has consistently been skating other stuff as well that looks really tough to skate, like the 5050 in north beach and the smith to pop into the ramp at that one church. David definitely hit some random shit nobody else did too though, like the switch 5050 he did in San Jose. I'd really say its definitely a toss up between those two, nobody else has a chance.
Somebody needs to put the video up on youtube also. The videos on this site are always too big to load properly through my stolen internet.

Tom was sick but I can't remember anything else than 50's, tailslides, smiths and nosegrinds. Still sick, but I liked david more.

He had a few flipper tricks up in there too. What I appreciate about him was his ability to adapt to some really tough to skate spots.

I think David should win, but if you look at the part of Tom in this thread at the beginning there's an appartment complex that look a lot like the one where we show them walk in to announce the winner... I wouldn't be mad if Tom won, I really think both of them were amazing in different ways...

If I had to pick I'd choose David. But I won't be disappointed with Tom either. I think they both deserve a sponsor and we'll likely see more from both of these dudes in the future either way.

I don't think Tom or David deserve second place. Both seem on par with each other though David is gnarlier and Tom is more consistent.

i've been hearing it constantly, especially from my friends in a giving-me-shit kind of way. i've been told to go do books on tape, work for NPR, etc etc. but at least somebody is enjoying it...

damn, you're getting deep! BUT- that part of tom's was filmed before he came to OIAM and i know he moved since returning from the contest. but you're right, they do kinda look alike. that's surburbia for you.
i gave a clue in the other OIAM thread going that it came down to david or tom and was a hard choice. we'll be editing up the final episode the next two days and get it ready for next monday. the final day went really well, good surprises and even some pretty sick footage from a few people...

Don't get me wrong, David is really good, but I think you're really short-changing Tom's tricks. Did you forget about that grind he did the first day? Definitely not mediocre. Anyways, either deserve the win. To be that productive in one week is really impressive, regardless if they didn't do pro-level tricks, or whatever you're expecting. They're all really good for being unsponsored.

5inchdick, you are correct with your reading and comprehension- it does indeed say pro. that's my bad for not catching it- the designer was just subbing in his name from all the previous week's pros. but yes, he is not pro and i tried to allude to that in the overdub track with the guest shredder thing.
and gip, yeah, i'm still in touch with all of them. except chuy, who hasn't replied to anything. but the rest.
