Title: Enders That Have Been Done Once
Post by: DrinkSmokeFight on February 26, 2010, 08:22:14 AM
i am not talking huge gaps or stairs. i mean tricks used as an ender that you haven't really seen done in video parts by others afterward.

like Koston's tre flip to noseblunt or Gino's BS 360 manny at the Roslyn Banks.

any stuff like that?

doesn't chris cole do tre flip nose blunts in his parts? there's one in new blood i know. how about matt bennett in suffer the joy, bs 180 to fakie 5050, trick is simple enough but on a handrail its sketchy and i've never seen another one as of yet. i'd like to see someone do it down a round rail.

i have trouble keeping a lot of those Zero videos straight. my fault. not surprised Cole has, Durrant is a little bit of a shock.

if Koston would have made that Fakie Tre Fakie BS Lip that he was trying in the Lakai Epicly Later'd, that would have been one for sure. i hope he makes that one some day.

oh and nick mclouth did a back 360 manny back 180 out. it was definitely nowhere near as sick as ginos back 3 manny, but still pretty tight.

and up until corey kennedys beware of sasquatch part, nobody had done a kickflip back nosegrind shove out mid ledge except nick mclouth. (as far as i'm aware)

Was it like a full 3 into a manny? or like 270, pivot to manny?

pretty much a 270. i guess one could argue that a steeper manny pad would have provided more time to finish the rotation, but whatever that didn't happen.

It was more insane when guy did it (the switch version) at the world park in like '93 and nobody else even tried anything like that for a decade.
Speaking of which, in the same part, guy does switch noseslide fakie flip back to switch on a rail.
Another one for Justin Eldridge is the switch flip front salad down the LA high rail. For as much hate as he gets, he's coming in strong in this thread.

maybe in the LRG video RodrigoTX will drop MJs ender, just like he did with MJs ender from Man Down. switch hardflip to backtail anyone. actually not enough time has passed for people to possibly forget.

also for those who watched the Fully Flared extras, what was the trick MJ was trying on a handrail in a royal blue tshirt. was it a b/s flip to b/s lip? it just looked a little different than normal flip-to-grinds. i would assume whatever he was trying has been done, or has it? can i get some help?

Mostly because he only seems to do single tricks, most of which are down handrails. He does some damn cool looking rail tricks though, a lot of them would be cool if he just did them on a plain old flatbar.

^ the dway front board to fs noseblunt, maybe?

there's a lot of flip trick + wallride variations I can think of that I haven't seen duplicates of, like Matt Millers' hardflip and big heel wallride, stefan switch heel wallride, Silas's ali-oop fs flip wallride, mccrank wallride nollie bs flip and steve olsen wallride nollie back heel, davis torgerson sw flip wallride

as for other shit, Cole did that gonz trick down a real rail, back 270 noseblunt, and cab front blunt, and I can't think of anyone that's done any of those aside from him. Adrian Mallory did sugarcaine down a real rail, and that decenzo kid's done a few switch hurricaines

i should've known, pretty much every ledge trick imaginable was done in those days.
the bolded statement also applies to nyjah, considering i've yet to see another heelflip front feeble on a handrail or a heelflip front 5-0. and up until that one guy's part in the digital fyi video, he'd done the only front nose 270 shove on a handrail too (as far as i know). manny santiago also did the only heelflip bs feeble i've ever seen done on a handrail.

And he did it proper too, if I remember correctly. I've seen a few others do the "bastardized" ones and they just didn't look right.

If I'm not confused, Jayme Fortune has done fakie flip bs noseblunts, straight from behind though. Maybe I'm just imagining that, but it seems like something he'd do. I feel like he has done a whole handful of tricks that nobody else ever has, or at least hasn't done until lately.

Jayme does it on a picnic table set down stairs for a guest trick in Matt Beach's 'Can't Stop' part, joey pepper did it mid-ledge, but it might've been a fakie ollie sw salad shot from a wierd angle

Also I think Ryan Aningalan's and Scott Yamamaura might've done that trick transfer-style from the wrong side of a bench, but you'd have to be a real seattle/wa video enthusiast to have seen those.

I'm far from the only person who thinks this. Park rails aren't handrails. Its the same way a bowl at a skatepark isn't an actual backyard pool, despite their similarities. A bunch of other people who I have seen footage posted of said the same thing in the 270 lip 270 out thread. But some fatass kid who quit a while ago and probably has never skated a rail probably knows the best.
Why exactly again? Go watch football you fucking spectator. your opinion doesn't mean shit.

I have no idea why you use the word "kid" or why you think I quit skating.

And if anything, you're the jock for saying tricks doesn't count when you're in the practice zone.

is chris cole the only person to have kickflip backside noseblunted a handrail?

No. Dennis Durant has done them, and I've seen some at contests but they don't count because the Gipper says so.
nick merlino too.

I called you a spectator, not a jock.

Not an ender at all, but austin gillette (sp?) at maloof did a back 180 alley oop to switch 5-0, approaching the ledge backside.

it was to 5050.

gonz did it on the bottom step of wallenburg in video days

As a non-skateboarder, you have no say in what skateboarder's opinion should be.

^^A man whose opinion doesn't count telling me that my opinion on his opinions shouldn't count.

Also, as a (substitute?) teacher, you should know how to correctly put together a sentence.

Haven't subbed for several years. Once you get to the grammar nazi shit you know you don't have shit. Its a message board, not formal prose.

Also, that's a cute thing to say, but seriously- you don't skate. Sit your fatass down and don't argue with real skateboarders about what they do. I'll call it what I want. I actually do it.
