Why?....... just why?
Ubisoft announced Shaun White Skateboarding today, a new skating game developed by Ubisoft's Montreal studio. This is the first skateboarding game in the Shaun White videogame franchise.
"I can't describe how excited I am about the skateboard game," said Shaun White. "We've been working on it for a while now and it's ready to melt minds."
This new skateboarding game promises to provide an "innovative twist" and "fresh take" on the genre. Though mostly known for his snowboarding skills, Shaun White is the first athlete to win both gold medals in skateboarding and snowboarding at the Summer and Winter X Games.
"As we've just seen at the Olympics, Shaun is a one-of-kind action sports athlete," said Tony Key, U.S. senior vice president of sales and marketing at Ubisoft. "Shaun's enthusiasm for skateboarding shines through in this truly unique game."
Shaun White Skateboarding will be released this holiday for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC, and Wii.

I honestly don't see how he can reinvent things. What hasn't been done? I mean S.K.A.T.E. took Tony Hawk and dumbed it down a little and making it more realistic. Is Ubisoft going to make it crazier and have it like a snowboarding game but with skateboarding? (and I think Tony Hawk did that with his down hill series on the Wii). I guess if he is cakin' money, might as well rake in the profits but this shit won't be good regardless.

I only played this game for about 20 minutes at a friends house, but it was good fun. It felt like skateboarding meets mario party, but much less gay-sounding.

i know for fact that the dude pushes mongo. he's shown up at this park i skate for and would push around and hit the flyout/mini megaramp thing that every indoor park has. does this dickweed still skate for birdhouse?

once, he came into the Target where i used to work, trying to be all low-key disguised or some shit, and bought around $6000 worth of electronics and furnishings for his new house. all of it was charged to his target card and he didn't pay a cent. dude's living the dream
