i love his attitude and positivity, so i feel somewhat dickish about saying i am glad they are gone because it made not want to watch his footage anymore. he really held out though.

I've always really liked Adelmo especially after meeting him years back he's one of the nicest and coolest dudes you'll ever meet. I have to admit his hair was getting a bit distracting in his parts and even took away from them, I also can't help but think they made it harder for him to skate. Glad too see he finally cut them off.

Even then, he had dreads to his shoulders. I can't believe he hasn't even cut his hair since then. I am sure he will grow it out like Karl Watson did.

I nearly decided, in a fit of gayness, to start a topic about this a while ago, I like the guy but I couldn't even watch his skating with those fuckin things swinging all over the place, glad they're gone, can't wait to see some new footy, since he's essentially lost 15lbs I'm guessing he'll have some serious ups

i hope not :-\. even when some of us black dudes do it i'm not a big fan. only in certain cases. when i see white guys with them it is sort of embarrassing.
side note: did nick dompierre cut his too? i had a transworld from a long ass time ago and he had short hair in his Check Out section in 2004 or so. i don't think he had cut his since then either

Weird to see adelmo without dreads, but I think it was already affecting his skating too much; on his recent clips he was landing everything perfect and nice but always taking care of the hair, like moving his arms on a certain position everytime he landed something to keep it out of the way, it looked awkward sometimes

WOAH...I haven't seen that part in ages. I don't even remember where I saw it, but I remember every trick. I must have seen it on VHS somewhere at some point.

why is everyone trippin' on how difficult it was to watch his skating when he had long hair? It's much better than watching the same pro/am with the same pair of chino's matched up with vans and a white t-shirt or flannel+orange beanie. I remember him in an interview saying he wouldn't cut it even if someone paid him, but hopefully he used this as an opportunity to win a bet or something.

That story sounds fake as hell , doesnt america have a freedom of religion ? or some rights that protect that ? sounds way weird that they just cut somebodys hair , specialy somebody who is rasta .
Why would cutting his hair help with his Identification ? passport ? ID ? tons of websites with his name and photo / videos
and tons of ppl who could help with his ID
he could prob sue them now or something

we do but lately people have gotten a lot more regular and ify about religion. I don't think they could go so far as to shave his head though. On what grounds could they say it was justified? "He was hiding a bomb in his hair?"
