you'll need a car for all of these spots as none of them are in the city. actually, all of those are deep and require some "local" knowledge on getting too.

where you coming from?

first spot is in duvall, second spot in everett. they're both a ways off from seattle.

Post by: smellyfart on February 03, 2011, 09:26:51 PM
I thought the 3rd spot was in Everett. And the second was in some town past Everett. Like Muckletieo or something.
Title: Re: Seattle??
Post by: Explain on February 03, 2011, 09:34:50 PM
I have no clue where the 3rd spot is, but I know that the 2nd spot is at the border of Everett and another city, but that's all I know so it's safe to just say Everett.

Wallride spot is in everett. Not too hard to find.
Coming to washington in april is a crap shoot.Seriously reconsider heading here closer to may if you can.
Expect rough ground and needing to drive to most spots but also enjoying some down to earth people for the most part.
And if you get bored there are a ton of fun parks to hit up.

Seattle is really fun, didn't street skate much last time I was there, but I went to Marginal Way three summers in a row. It was great to see their progress. that new space needle park is way too small to be where it is but it was fun.

The qp is still skateable. If you went to the bellevue plaza http://bellevueskatepark.blogspot.com/ (http://bellevueskatepark.blogspot.com/) and made friends all those spots would be easily guided to as theyre all common spots. The qp spot is fun but only a small section is really skateable and you kind of need a sign.Stoked someone is this hyped on skating washington.

Yo man if your rolling through Washington, you might want to check out the Wenatchee Valley/Leavenworth Area. It's about three hours from Seattle, plus there are a ton of towns with skateparks between here and Seattle. 2 free outdoor parks in the wenatchee valley plus an indoor one plus tons of street spots, some within 30 seconds of the parks.  Leavenworth is like 20 minutes away and has a gnarly park http://www.northwestskater.com/leavenworth.html (http://www.northwestskater.com/leavenworth.html)

Post by: ??? on February 04, 2011, 04:49:24 PM
^ You forgot to mention that Leavenworth is a Bavarian-themed town. Had no idea about the park there or in Wenatchee. Looks like a trip east could be worth.

Plus, Yakima in south-central Washington has a bad ass park too. It was in the second Beauty and the Beast.

Yeah I think my friends will be pretty hype on the skate park in washington! I def look into Wenatchee Valley..

Let me know if your rollin through yo.

And yeah Yakima has like 2 or 3 good parks.

Heres a link to some shit about wenatchee outdoor parks.

heres the indoor one

Don't let the prices scare you it's like $3 to skate for as long as you want. Alot of douchy little kids hang out in there though.

Yakima park is my favorite park hands down.It is deep though.
Generally speaking of you're in seattle staying along the i-5 corridor is easiest and has the most spots/parks per square mile.

moving to Seattle in like week, pretty stoked. i'm a park rat so i'll probably be skating greenlake, shoreline, and bellevue plaza pretty often(when it doesn't rain that is)
anyone wanna suggest key spots to hit up within the city? i mainly wanna know where the foundation is that everyone skates, locals may know what im talking about

and also how is public transport when it comes to going out to the suburbs? like is there an easy way to get to bellevue/tacoma/etc

If you are thinking of the foundation with the drag out ledge and other ledges, then that is in Everett. As far as public trasportation goes, it is pretty easy to get around. Just cruising around downtown seattle is really fun. If you havent already seen it, purchase this year's All City Showdown. Really good.

Yakima skatepark seems amazing, if I end up going on this trip to Portland that i've been wanting to do, i'm thinking of hitting that park up on the way back. Easily one of the best looking skateparks my eyes have been fortunate enough to seen through the screen of a computer monitor.

Going to be in Seattle Friday afternoon and all day this Saturday March 4th and 5th. Whats my best bet just hit up a couple  inner space sessions? I'm trying to see a lot of the city too because its a trip with intent to move in about a month. So i wanna check the city and get some skating in as well. If any residents could throw me some suggestions of what so skate and what to check out/where to party?

As far as innerspace goes it'll probably be packed on the weekend though if it's raining which probably will happen. The mini ramp is oh so fun, so you can definitely get yourself a good session on it if mini ramp skating is your thing. Shit I may even be down there on sunday to skate around for a bit.

yeah, skating around campus can be pretty easy to skate. it really depends on where you go. red square is definately still skateable, ive never been kicked out. as long as you dont spend too long at each spot you could cruise around campus for a good while without getting hastled. a good deal of the spots in udub to are not actually on campus too, just around  in the streets.
