Jesus Christ, is there really no Gonz appreciation thread in a skateboard messageboard section for appreciation? Let's remedy this!
Gonz haters need not apply. Hating on the Gonz is easy, appreciating him is where its at right here. If you don't know why people love him, come learn.
His whole catalog is too exhaustive to entirely post, but here are some classics and favorites from the 90's:

wow i apresheate the gonz for shore!! I saw him skate a contest about 10 years ago and he impressed me alot. Yes he skated in a stylish way that you could not stop watching, i expected that. But also he is mad powerful skater. There was a neck high rainbow rail and out of at least a 100 pro competitors over the weekend nobody (except one guy rail sliding) even attemted it. Neither did gonz untill it was his run, feebles up and down it every time. I remember thinking that he markets himself artistically but is really a fukin jakie chan motherfucker. chek out his spin kick in dustin dollins gonz video

I started skating in early 2000 but managed to watched Video Days as one of the first couple of videos i watched. Always like the idea that the tricks they were doing then was still gnarly with the standard of that time. I liked that in an interview he mentions something like " I have a high pain tolerance" which pretty much explains why he was a maniac and would do the gnarliest shit without hesitation.
