I imagine (even though Carnie didn't do the interview) it's going to be like the BB Jarret Berry intervew... tons of gay jokes in that one (about as equivalent of an interview as I can think of in a skate mag), but at the same time you left the interview stoked on Jarret. The humor makes light of something that the wrong people take seriously... plus a lot more people are going to see how much she rips. Really hyped on this.

I was also stoked on the linetrap interview, and Elissa namedropping Ted Talks. How come I never see Elissa boards in shops???? I would absolutely buy one. This whole article got me really stoked though, it bums me out how homophobic and jockish skateboarding can be sometimes. Hillary fucking rips, and I really hope that she keeps getting coverage and finds a way to make herself happier in general. Good shit all around!

You don't see Elissa boards, because she is pro for Zero, yet Zero releases very few (none?) of her boards for some reason. I'm not seeing any in their Spring '11 catalog on the site.
I guess she isn't marketable.
The funny thing is, an Elissa board is just about the only item I would consider purchasing from Zero.

it is kinda sad how ellisa is getting a raw deal with boards. it is kinda like Rune and Flip. dude shreds and you are hard pressed to see Flip put out one board with his name on it. she has had 4 or 5 boards with zero in the last three years. Strange world, sig. skull etc. but i have not seen anyhting since spring of last year. she deserves the $$$$ and they need to hook it up.
