In skateboarding, you can't teach new dogs old tricks. Kids today got no use for your damn pressure flips and judo airs.
-
Shit no it's not true! Between transition and flippity do da's, I've learned more in my six years of being 30 than nearly any other point of my life.

that's not even right for Dogs.
If you're young you can learn something completely new easily.
But if you do something 20 years you can still develop yourself further.
-
I think it gets easier.. If you manage to skate a lot even when you are 30 or something, you are so comfortable on your board, that new tricks come a lot faster. Im only 21, but one of the dudes from my local shops is 28 or 29, and he still rips and learns faster than me probably...

You new posters are fucking horrible.
-
Most old guys can't be skating all day so they might concentrate and analyze tricks more than a young guy.
Taught a friend who's 35 how to do 360 shove its the other day.

My dog can't even olly ???

i wanna see some forty something learn nollie flip backtail bigspin as a midlife crisis thing

Sounds more like you're talking about little kids. Groms are almost always guilty of being the ones sitting in the middle of the box or leg dangling the ramps, as well as the only people that step up and ask how to do this-or-that flip when they barely even know how to ride.
I'm sure there are exceptions, but generally old dudes don't need to ask where to put there feet... they just feel it out until they get it or don't.

definitely possible, a skater whos been doing it for 30 years could watch toreys new part and have some existensial crisis, whereas his loser friend who doesn't skate will compensate by buying a new sports car, this older gentlemen will channel that into learning the new "it" tricks of the year
but ya if you keep skating then you keep progressing, i dont think it matters, the part of your brain that remembers abilties will continues to grow and feel more comfortable on the board, i think you can only get better?
