Title: Backwards compatible update for xbox 360
Post by: heckler on August 09, 2011, 08:07:18 PM: Does anyone on here know how to make an xbox 360 backwards compatible to play regular xbox games? I'm trying to play Tony Hawk 2x, and every list I've seen of games that'll play on both systems has it listed, but for some reason it won't play. Is there an update or something for it?

You need to buy an external harddrive to play original XBOX games. They cost around 100$, it sucks I had to get one to play Star Wars Battlefront and Amped 2

If your Xbox has a plain white disc tray, it's an 'Arcade'. If your Xbox has a chrome disc tray, it's what they called a "Premium" or something.

Connected to the internet? Can't play previous gen games without downloading updates for each of them individually.
