since the only other topic about 3 shoves i could find is like 5 years old i'm starting a new one.
anyway even though i can only pop them right and land them every 500 tries i think they're a cooler looking trick than tre flips when done proper...i.e. 3:10 in this transworld clip...dudes from louisiana and has one of the coolest styles in my opinion but anyway i'll stop talking.
Transmission: Summer 2011 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p___4SDyxCQ#ws)
anybody else got some good clips of any good looking ones, post.

I hate it when people do these and call them impossibles, or when I do an impossible and people say it is a 3shuv.
-
not trolling but that line at 2:30 was way sicker
-
^WOW, was expecting a nollie flip in the middle there.
Anyways, I agree it can look good if done right, but an Ed Templeton style impossible is always better in my book.

yeah that line was fuckin sick indeed.

I get the second part all the time. I dog on popped 360 shuvs, but never felt really in control over them like impossibles.
-
I like 3shuvs because my brain just can't handle doing impossibles for some reason. The only problem is their propensity to turn into a half-flipped tre.
-
They're two different motions though, the 3shuv is more of a more shuved out popshuv if that makes sense (like you just try to spin it harder) and an impossible is just stomping down and then forward with your back foot to scoop it all the way around. I learned it from just doing the motion with my back foot over and over sitting at the bus stop.

Very much appreciated. Kinda interesting how foot placement barely seems to matter at all in the backside version.. almost all in the hips. FS is definitely the nicer-looking and more difficult of the two in my opinion.
