Have been living in America since I was 6 and am going back to visit family over the summer, what spots/ cities should I be in to have the best skate? Pics or videos would help out to! Much appreciated in advance!

I've never been to Croatia myself, but I bet Sibenik would be a cool city to visit! skhateus has a spot map for a few cities in Croatia...

just go to split, that's pretty much one of the best places to skate in croatia.
it has
.a crazy amount of good spots
.a crazy amount of good looking women (it's like walking through hugh hefners garden, no joke.)
.the sea
.hella cheap seafood

zagreb has good spots too, but i assume less good looking girls.
-
what pica said.
-
yeah i went to split last summer too, some gnarly spots and fun hills to bomb, although not really steep.
in zagreb you also have a really sick diy-pool next to the central station (like 500metes, next to the railroadtracks) which is really sick.
if you want i can show it to you on googlemaps.

slightly unrelated but still on-topic, can anyone recommend any nice campsites, preferably coastal? heading over in july
was thinking of staying here for a bit end before flying back from dubrovnik http://www.orasac.com/index_en.htm (http://www.orasac.com/index_en.htm)

so I'm going to split this summer and wanted to ask if somebody knows a couple of spots and things to visit?

thinking about going to Outlook Festival this year.
very appealing line-up as always

how long are you gonna stay, matze? if you stay for a week or so, you`ll have enough time to simply stroll around and enjoy the city. its not toooo big, you will find most stuff pretty easily.

split isn't that big, you'll finde plenty of spots anywhere. lot of spots near and in the "plattenbauten" outside the city, but be carefull the people living there have thrown glass bottles and melons out of their windows when they wanted us to leave. also the police is a lot rougher then you're used to taking boards and making you pay for tickets right at the spot. they even searched our car on more than one occasion.
-
thats pretty helpful that they helped you search your car.
god that was awful...
but yeah, what pica said. the worst thing is that the watermelons they threw at us werent even ripe. and why in the hell would you throw a watermelon anyway? oh croatia..
also, i have never seen as many stray cats as in split in my life. amazing.
the picture that macgruber posted are from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plitvice_Lakes_National_Park (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plitvice_Lakes_National_Park) , its ridiculous, only had a few hours there but its on the list for sure.
-
guess I need to watch out.
but yeah, we'll be all guys in their 30s, so I guess it's going to be allright. not filming, just relaxing, whistling at girls in tight jeans and so on, haha.
-
okay, in that case i hope that you get to see a lot of melons...
