Damn, he sure hasn't slowed down. Switch blizzard, not even trying. What's his current sponsor status, still Toy and Supra flow or what?
-
pushes the kid out of his way at 2:10 like a boss. he should be pro
-
He's like the opposite Tim Tebow. Terrible human being but rips it on a skateboard.
-
forrest and that guy filming were hilarious
-
i like when he pushed the kid in the middle of his line.
-
instant legend material. insane skill, insane mind
-
Forrest knows shirts are for pussies.
-
This dude seriously needs to just shut his mouth, stop pushing kids out of his way, and just skate cause he is literally amazing. I know that word gets tossed around a lot, but he's on another level. That switch tre on flat was one of the best I've ever seen.
-
obviously the best skater from that years OIAM

at first i though his flippy maneuvers were the highlight of this clip :)
then i saw the fat kid on a scooter :o
then i heard the supergay voice of the filmer ???
he's still amazing at skateboarding tho...
-

Thats an understatement. He's better than most pros.

Unless that footage is mirrored, then that's not Cardiel unless that was switch which I don't think it is.
-
loved the fakie 360 flip immediately after the switch flip back tail
-
Damn this guy is on another level.
-
he's got one hell of a switch tre
-
i think he just outbossed reynolds. ? 8)

Pretty sure it's Eric J.
Forrest is ridiculously talented though, if he can learn to be a little more socially conscious he'll go far.
-
i wanna see forrest actually try in the streets
-
nollie feeble to late tuck knee
-
Selfish should scoop this dude up. After he drops a full part he could go to any team he wants (or stay)
-
Forest needs a board. I would support.

for some reason it amazed me how easily he just lands stuff. Like the random nollie inward heel over the hip
-
forrest epicly laterd
-
so good. i dont even mind his shitty attitude, gives him edge. hes a thug
-
that rock to fakie was sick !!
-
it almost makes me mad how easy he makes it look lol
-
fuck he is so fucking good.
filmer creeped me the fuck out though. film, don't direct. you sound like one of those casting couch porn guys when you do.
-
That was sick, is it just me or did his style get a lot better, not that it was bad before but its just really good now.
-
Better skating and the absence of Lil Wayne in this clip. Excellent.
-

He basically turned them down.

For what it's worth, he's riding a Toy board and he's wearing a Supra shirt. So, I'd say yea on both accounts, but I guess you never know
-
forrest is on some other shit i hope he has a pro board some day
-
shouts out to his neon green laces.
-
i like when he pushed the kid on a scooter in the middle of his line.
-
Kinda reminded me of a less floaty/graceful trappaso. The switch tre was no where near what Jaylay does, but was cool none the less.
-
if i ever see a forrest board i will buy it. i can't fight it, it's just going to happen.

Holy shit, for some reason I always though it was him. I never pay attention to details I suppose. It was funny to me though. I really can't even remember what it's from

Forrest is like Tom Penny in his prime. There isn't much footage of him, but everything is gold and there is some mystique about him.
-
How can no company be interested in Forrest? He will give nothing but publicity to wherever he goes and to top it off, he's really good at skating. Deathwish seemed like the perfect fit just cause his "I don't give a fuck" attitude will actually get him somewhere with them. LE should definitely make this happen.
-
i'm hoping that because you mostly see park footage of him he's building up an insane street part. toy machine should do a web part welcome or something.
skateboarding needs a few assholes to keep things from getting too rasa libre

I laughed because i agree. He does have that weird cock eyed thing going on too
-
I really hope the dude is just stacking footage for some kind of welcome part somewhere, and not being blacklisted b/c he needs an ''attitude adjustment'' (in other words he "lacks social etiquette" (in other words he hasn't learned how to play industry circle jerk)).
I can't remember the last time park footage stoked me out, that was ridiculous. His weirdo demeanor would have been welcomed in a past era, and we don't need another Theotis Beasley on the scene (no, I'm not comparing them b/c they're black, I'm just citing the dude who's obviously synonymous with "great attitude.")

"The lack of demonstrated empathy is possibly the most dysfunctional aspect of Asperger syndrome.[2] Individuals with AS experience difficulties in basic elements of social interaction, which may include a failure to develop friendships or to seek shared enjoyments or achievements with others (for example, showing others objects of interest), a lack of social or emotional reciprocity, and impaired nonverbal behaviors in areas such as eye contact, facial expression, posture, and gesture.[1]"
I would absolutely buy a Forrest board. I would also donate money to send him to Tampa.

There's a lot of truth to this.
Carroll said it during an interview, something along the lines of:
You can't just skate well; you have to fit in with the team and not be a kook. A big part of skateboarding is earning the respect of your peers by respecting them, etc.

I'd like to meet Forrest to see how he actually is.
That's like asking to hang out with your favorite pro for a day. It's a horrible experience.
I had the chance to meet Forrest when I went to Long Beach this year for my Agenda sneak peeks.
Forrest was skating the Berrics and he had broken his board. My friend noticed, felt bad and gave Forrest his back up deck.
Now, my friend has no idea who Forrest is. He doesn't pay attention to any of the latest skate media and I think that actually makes him better at skating. Anyhow, after that happened, I needed to go to our rental car to get my book bag. On my way to the car, I noticed Forrest sitting a car away from where our rental was. He was sitting on a curb, shirtless and was holding his head.
I'm no concerned citizen and I enjoy minding my own business most of the time but I felt compelled to see if he was alright.
I started off by asking if he was alright and I got a "Yeah, I'm aight".
Then I figured, I'd ask him how he liked the new deck, it was from our shop and I figured I'd make small talk.
He said "I don't know, I haven't set it up yet." in a condescending manner. He was clearly annoyed so I decided to leave him alone. All I said next as I left was "Alright, hope you enjoy it". As I was walking away, I randomly heard "What do you mean? I told you, I didn't even set it up yet."
I just kept walking.
Forrest shows signs of social anxiety, which is common in most skateboarders, but it was strange to see that it wasn't all an act.
The End.
