Some interesting contestents this year:
Rodrigo Tx hasn't skate Tampa Pro since 2004, Chris Haslam since 2005, Bastien Salabanzi since 2005, Rick McCrank since 2007, I don't think Sean Sheffey has ever entered.
Mike V, Chris Senn, Gershon Mosley, and Kerry Getz all have spots in the semi-finals on Sunday due to them being past winners even though over a decade has passed since any of them won. Mike V's win came 17 years ago in 1995.

Why does Wayne want to be involved with skating now? Seems a bit forced and abnormal to me. Camaraderie amongst skaters is
something thats earned and comes with time. You cant just roll up onto our seen and expect the utmost respect. Although im indifferent about Wayne's skating and his music, seeing that photo of Leo stoked me out. And made me feel more respect for the dude.

Watching Chris Cole skate Tampa this year was probably the highlight of my trip.
He's got the biggest bag of tricks I've ever seen. I never knew what he was going to do next, and I don't think he knew either.
He was just going with the flow (during and between heats.)
