Come here to hate on rain.
Don't you hate it when it looks like it's going to rain for hours and hours and it doesn't?
Then, the moment you decide you'll go skate as you think it ain't going to rain, it starts to rain.
Shieeeet.
Was working all day, thought it'd rain, but finally, at 7pm I thought, "fuck work", and decided to go skate, and it got all wet.
Not feeling it!

drove to the golf course this morning and when i got there it started raining like a motherfucker. decided to try virtual golf at a different place but the the sensitivity is fucked and putting is shitty on it. it is clearing up so i will skate but still, when life gives you lemons why not kill somebody with those lemons, "by shoving them down their throat" -jack handy

Even if I can't/don't want to skate for other reasons I still hate rain.

When I was in school I was working my ass off and sometimes wouldn't skate for a week at a time because I had so much work to do. I would always decide what day I would take off ahead of time. The days leading up would be perfect and it always seemed to rain on my day off. I would be so burned out by then that I would just have to take that day off and skate a parking garage or something. Then back to studying the next day, which would of course be a perfect sunny day.

The only (short) period in my life when I could do heelflips for a while was when I once went to the countryside for a holiday and it rained throughout the goddamn time I was there.
I had to make the best of it so I started working on heelflips in the garage as I had never even tried to do them.
Took me a week and a pair of Etnies Arto shoes.
Was worth it.
I've lost that trick since.

Love the rain . Best is thunderstorms and rain in the summer . You know when its really hot and its raining but not too much .
Go down to the beach in that weather and stand in the water and enjoy the best summer ever !

I have some fond childhood memories of biking in heavy summer rains - getting completely soaked and just riding through giant puddles.

I work 9-5 and I can sympathize with this...grey skies all day then hey 5pm time to go to the park and it starts pouring.

The worst is when you work all day and it's sunny. On your way home it pisses rain just long enough to drench the whole city. Then the sun comes out and you have to watch everyone shoot photos to update their Facebook profile.

spent my whole life eager to move away from harsh weather. Now in LA I get so excited when it rains. That feeling fades after 1 day and I remember why I moved here.

Living around London, FUCK RAIN. Summer was scorching this year and lasted approximately one week before it rained again, just enough time for every pastey fuck to turn in to a lobster mind you.

yup, three days of underground carpark skating/not skating at all. had a bunch of trips planned with friends that all went pear shaped fast.

when i was a kid i hated the rain, now that im older, the rain makes me not skate as much and hurt myself less, so i appreciate it. plus, i like how it makes my grass grow nice.

i like rainy days sometimes everything kinda slows down for a few hours and chills . i lucked out though and have a really sick indoor park a mile or so away from my house

Right now for me it's one of those things that belongs in the "things you're stoked on but stoked on" thread, in a non-skateboarding accident I messed my toe up by landing/stubbing it with all my weight at the fastest speed I could've possibly be going, and subsequently my toe turned purple and all swollen and shit and I haven't been able to skate let alone walk without any pain/limping for two weeks BUT as soon as I injured my toe the weather's been terrible, So I'm not even missing out, stoked!
