Title: Wheels that are hardish but quiet
Post by: 360 frip on October 04, 2012, 08:12:07 AM
I need some quieter wheels. Got some Bones SPF and I need something not so hard. Not cruiser soft though. Any recommendations? Stop being a pussy etc,etc but is there a 98A ish wheel that can help me? Very specific I know, any help would be welcome.

nope. ive had a bunch of sets and they dont yellow fast at all. they dont stay white quite as long as stfs, but way longer than spitfire. and when they do yellow its not that bright ugly yellow but more of just dirty white

OJ's!

I've been skating the filmer wheels on my cruiser and they are great. I've actually found a smoother bit of ground to ride on but sometimes I find Bones too noisy if the ground is rougher. I sort of don't want to piss people off around here. Better to ride slightly softer wheels and skate than piss your local neighbourhood off... May look for some OJ's this week.

quiet wheels seems like a bad thing

I know what you mean but if it comes between swapping my wheels to skate near houses (and not piss them off) as opposed to annoying the locals then may be better to bite the bullet. Still testing the waters,

I got some Palace wheels the other day and they are seriously good, don't want to ride anything else.
