Title: When Is Your Board Broken In?
Post by: stickman1980 on January 20, 2013, 10:58:30 PM
This might've been addressed before, but when is your new deck officially good and broken in? After I coffee splortch on the grip it's good to go for the day, and after a day of skating it's broken in.  ;D

My board is best during its initial set-up.
My board is worthless when I hit the 3rd ply.

Usually after I write "Fuck it!" and "Land it, kook!" on my grip then skate it for a few days.
I can't skate right now though.  :'( My foot is fucked.

I would say usually 3-5 sessions depending on how hard I've been skating

Your new message board is broken after you have reached 100 posts. This isn't true for everyone, but it is a good guideline. Hopefully after you have been sessioning for that long, you'll be familiar enough with its charecteristics and inner workings to know how to start a good thread. Until then, just cruise along or hang it up.
