Title: Houston Help

I'm heading to Houston a week from now to visit my folks and suss out some potential colleges for next year. It'll be my first trip to the states so I'm hunting down a few good tips on where to find my bearings.

Stuff like:
Good local skate shops
Good parks to meet up with locals
Cheap food
Cheap booze
Good coffee (australian/euro style that I'm firmly addicted to)

Good bars/clubs/places to go out etc.



And also tips on the best way to get around, not get hassled my cops (they seem a lot gnarlier there than where im from), how much money Ill need to spend each day to eat well and stuff like that.

talking to the guys at southside or kingpinz can help you figure out the skating parts
