And the JB one is definitely a fucking banger, even if I do say so myself!
Stoked people were feeling the chat with J.B!
Anyway, here's the final interview of 2014; an early Christmas present in the form of Lucas Puig.
HAD TO TAKE IT DOWN - Bloody spelling mistake! Will be back up asap.
Lucas Puig: The Route One Interview (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jv3aDvsGHOo#)woah ease up there, its not easy being the light of the world when your hungover #Notre_Pere
awsome interview, lucas is the man..it's starting to look like the good times are beginning to take a toll on him tho [b/]
Nice interview, thanks for that
Lucas parts in the Adidas, Helas and Cliche vids...2015 gonna be epic
i know its been said, but you guys really need to work on ur audio. either get a decent lapel mic or at least do some work in post. I can't hear what jb is saying without putting headphones in. otherwise ur interviews are great
background cameo in that supra clip! hello fame!
great stuff as usual.

This right here. The term "100% Skateboarder" gets thrown around a lot but Buz is exactly that. Total skate rat. No fashion, no arrogance, no pretentious, no hijinx or bullshit persona...just a skate machine. No doubt the people's SOTY every year.
Great interview, thanks for posting.
first time ive heard him speak. higher voice than i would've thought. still the coolest dudeHis voice sounded higher than usual in this video.
All these years and i've been calling that Volcom video Chick-ah-gof, like Chicago with an F on the end. This was actually very sweet vindication for me. More than one asshole would say I was wrong when I was pronouncing it right. You know, sometimes I forget Busenitz is my favorite, but it's moments like these that cement his place in my heart.
Nice! Wes is epitome of what I think makes a great skateboarder. No excessive fashion, no side art hustle, no bullshit elitist attitude. Just straight up skater through and through. More of him less of these nyc fuccboistrue, they talk shit about cali being spoiled but whenever i see a jenkem article in nyc they look like hipsters/fashionistas.
We were lucky enough to be granted an exclusive interview with Ty last week via the wonders of Skype. Part one is online now, part two coming same time next week.

I've worked on a lot of interviews and filmed a load of demos but chatting with this guy has to be a life highlight, no doubt about it.

Now I think of a T-Rex every single time anybody mentions him...
Why don't you put the question there before he starts answering it? It's pretty annoying reading the question when he's already answering it. Actually, why put it in text anyway?
Expand QuoteWhy don't you put the question there before he starts answering it? It's pretty annoying reading the question when he's already answering it. Actually, why put it in text anyway?[close]
If I were to put the question up first & leave time for people to read it (given they are usually quite long), I'd have to add approximately 10 seconds to the edit per question. I always ask at least twelve questions, that alone would ad two minutes to any interview watching time. So that's why mate; most of the interviews are long enough anyway without having to add an extra few minutes to their run length.
And why put it in text at all? I have a Yorkshire accent that some people may struggle with understanding plus the questions I actually ask are usually much more longwinded than the text you see - often answers allow me to tweak the structure of the question to make more sense

Stoked (most) people seem to be digging this interview; Louie was definitely a pleasure to chat with (and, as I mentioned before) there was a lot more to our conversation than the stuff that made it into the final cut. I've got nothing lined up in the immediate future interview wise so I'm gonna have a look at maybe getting on that 'raw cut' bandwagon and knock out a few longer pieces.can't get enough sweet lou. does he ever break character?
