A guy (one that I'm not attracted to) sent me a message on OKCupid, asking me if I had any skate shoes to sell to him. Of course I want to do it, not only because I could really use the money, but because I think it'd be rad to help people out with their fetishes (I've been in a similar situation as him).
I was just wondering if anybody had any experience with this? What to say? What to expect? I'm a horrible businessman, I usually sell myself short...

Nothing comes up when I search "skate shoe fetish" on ebay. But I'd certainly do it. Whatever he offers you, just add $30 and tell him it's a deal. Don't put a return address on the box when you mail them.

I had some dude who worked at this yogurt place in my school ask me to speak to him privately. We sat down at one of the small 2 person tables over some nice iced yogurts and he offered to pay me $$$ because he said "I could get a nice funk going", which I was pretty gross and skate lifed out at the time so I'm pretty sure he was legit.
Homeboy wanted my damn socks and sneakers in a plastic baggy so he can get high off my foot juices. He wanted to meet up again when school was closed but I never had the balls to follow through with it. I could have seriously made some nice cash off that idiot. Or gotten raped.

I uploaded some shoe reviews on youtube and the guy I sell to found me on there. He is obsessed with vans so he might be down to buy yours too. Initially I was pretty weirded out, but after talking to the guy I realized he's just some normal dude with a fetish, and in terms of fetishes this is about as harmless as it gets.

I remember reading Erick Winkowski saying he did this a while ago.
I dabble in reselling stuff I thrift so I gave it a shot and can vouch that it works. Sold a heavily skated a pair of canvas Old Skool's and a pair of canvas CTAS, sold for $50 each pretty quick but it wasn't worth the DM's you get.

There was a guy that just got arrested for soliciting under age boys for pics of them and for buying their socks. It's a strange fetish but whatever. If you're doing it with consenting adults, I don't give a shit what it is. Only when kids get involved is when I give a shit.
I was sitting at a coffee shop and some dude came up and slipped me a note saying he would buy my used shoes. I thought he was some second hand store owner haha. I should've done it. I really needed money at the time.

I decided to back out of the sale after I got a few more ask about how smelly are they really, and how they want to feel when they smell them. Nothing overtly sexual, but this one dude said something about how he wants to have to turn his head away the first time he sticks his face in, and I immedietly deleted the auction instead of screen capturing.
