Title: Z Flex Decks?
Post by: concerned_parent on February 22, 2016, 08:57:40 AM
Okay so have people ridden these things? First glance, I literally put these guys in the category of Kryptonics and other defunct skate brands that are barely hanging on but maybe I'm wrong, I believe they're PS Stix. But I see a lot of shapes on clearance on tons of sites and they've got the punk point board for a good price point. Can anyone attest to the quality of these boards???

I actually just set one up on Saturday. They are indeed ps stix, which is the only reason I bought it. Was $30 on sale from skate warehouse a while back.

Only one sesh in but it felt super good. Blunt-ish shape. Not tapered at all, not too round either. Medium concave and kick. 95% of the boards I ride are ps stix and this one feels like one of the better ones.

For reference sake, I started skating in 88 so I'm old as fuck but I'm not one of those old guys who has transitioned into a tranny skater. I generally skate ledges, bumps, and flat ground.

Nah Z-Flex is legit. They have some good rippers on their team. Can't go wrong with PS Stix, either. Also, Jay Adams was on the team towards the end before he passed. He definitely wouldn't ride a shitty board by choice. I've just never dug their designs so I've yet to buy one.

I'm not familiar with his truck selection but he did skate Osiris, yes.

yeah a lot of their graphics are pretty garbage. was looking more at getting one of the simpler ones and stickering it or spraypainting it. thanks for the feedback though fella's
