I like Jesse Alba's skating and am suprised that I never hear his name mentioned on the forum here but I see names (alot) like "trevor coldman" or "clint walker" -people I haven't seen. Who does he skate for now? Do people care on slap?

So he does whatever the fuk he wants in his phone videos which for whatever reason get tens of thousands of views so that makes his "ego thru the roof." -Cause he's having his little success slap is going to hate him. You can't ride for monster and you can't be Jesse Alba says slap. (oh yah the wall ride judo air is my fave)

I dig his skatin for a couple of reasons...
I'm stoked how some of the kids who grew up with fathers who were pro bowl/vert dudes have turned out skating wise. (Could u imagine havin Salba as a dad?) These kids were raised on transition from the moment they've been born, that already provides a good foundation to begin with. Then when they start growin up they're like, "Fuck this, I wanna skate street now", and it shows in the tricks they do if that makes any sense.
Also, he grew up in the area me n friends would frequent a lot growin up. His old youtube videos are nostalgic to me and reminded me how much rad spots are in the foothills of the IE. Ever since I lived in OC, my IE trips stagnated immediately till a couple years ago, those fuckin freeways mang...

This guy could even be a dick, but what he's doing is respectable. He's an smooth atv who's not trying to break himself off like all these go for broke thrasher tranny clip crazy people. So he ends up doing a more 'hang out' style of skating that I can relate to more than the latest craziest gnar shit. Then with that he'll throw in some nods to the 80s and 70s with a trick or two. I don't care if he 'desearves sponsorship' just appreciate the smooth rollings.

Is jesse really that bad of a guy? I kinda met him once at garvanza skate park with the wknd crew and I didn't see him at first but I was helping my friend film stuff over the boob and he joins in and does an early grab over it. Cool moment in my book.

When I was a freshman in hs trevor yerman wrote SALBA IS GAY on the top of the pipe in wax at upland skatepark. Salba was not pleased. Needless to say the albas are the most polarizing family in skateboarding.
Nobody knows what happened to trevor.
