I'm embarrassed to admit this, but did anyone watch the behind the scenes thing on, cough, the skateboard mag website?  I remember Grant Yansura posted this scene that had me dying.  Tommy Fynn was trying to get a trick and he had this hilarious, not really crazy, crazy look in his eyes and he said something along the lines of, "I'll do it right here, man.  I'm fucking crazy.  Look into my eyes. I'm fucking crazy, I don't give a fuck".

I'll take multiple personalities over the Birdhouse locker room talk any day.  Let's go boys!

i liked the fakie shove, the front shove noseblunt, and uhh the last trick.

i forget, so whats up with the parts taking so long to release? like they're not paying people or something something?

also, not that i think miles silvas is even going to be a soty runner up, but in thrasher eyes, any berrics content isn't counted towards the race right? realized that he put at least 2 really good parts out this year. unfrotunately, hip hop trends feel dated faster than any other genre.

Seriously.  I read your comment before I watched it, and paused it half way down the rail.  I wasn't ready for that rail to get back lipped.  He's skating like he just turned 20.  Holy shit.

I wonder how much a guy like Tommy Fynn gets paid

Surely Stereo are paying peanuts, and he has never had a shoe or even a colorway with dc (that i'm aware of) though he does enter like every contest

Wow absolutely amzing.  That was worth the 1 year wait.  Now we just need Leo's and Biebel's.

Edit: O and I forgot to add, as Tommy would say, "the last few tricks were hectic"

Pretty 'ectic to be filmed shooting an ad where you don't land the trick, let the company run the ad, and never come through with the make. No I don't have a pic of the ad, but it's the pic in hsi DC bio.

Sarmiento and TX come to mind for shuvit noseslides that look sick.  Also, i feel like I've seen lucas and JJ Rousseau do shuvit noseblunts that look sick.

How good is everyone these days? Although not classy,  varial flip nosegrind a handrail is bonkers.  And that ender might even come up in future threads on best back lip ever done. Always good to be surprised like that!

He really belongs to the very top skill-wise. The back lip was monstrous. I actually like the little dorky fakie varial flip down the stairs best though, about as idiosyncratic-looking as it gets.

Danny Garcia touched on some of this in his 9 Club interview. It was about a shot of a nose blunt on an box. He said it wasn’t a make but ran a good photo. That totally rubbed me the wrong way. To me, if it was not a make it didn’t count. Being a Gino fan, I got a ton of shit cuz I said his BS heel down the Gonz was not a make. Years later he, himself said it wasn’t a make in his eyes too...

Front shove back noseblunt was sick as fuck. He essentially caught it straight and then turned it backside into the noseblunt. I don't know if I want to see anybody else trying that trick, but he made it look cool.

The fakie tre sw. back tail was sick as fuck. Back lip, nuts! But one thing bothers me, his hats seem way too big for his head. I know that sounds pedantic, but I reckon he could use a low profile cap.

What other tricks have gone down on that rail he back lips?

That was pretty insane. In another era, that could've been one of the heaviest parts of the year.

It's really a shame most will forget about this part by the end of the day.

Front shuv back noseblunt was super sick.
