A few years ago, when I was still in school, I got fired somewhat unexpectedly (though in hindsight, it's obvious why) from a serving job. At the time, it definitely hurt my wallet, but for whatever reason, it might have damaged my ego even more -- it was the kind of place you wanted to quit with a scene rather than get fired. I proceeded to immediately get hammered, and later that night, when I was blackout drunk, I ended up in the bathroom with my old work uniform. For whatever reason, I thought the best way to get even with my former employers was to tear my old work shirt into shreds and piss on it, even though it was just sitting on my own bathroom floor. Obviously, an old t-shirt can only hold so much piss, and most of my fluids ended up on my bathroom floor for me to clean up the next morning. So, essentially, because I was pissed off at a third party, my "retribution" was pissing all over my own floor.

What happened is what you said. Somebody at dlx/high speed/whatever saw their cash cow under attack and rather than deal with it the proper way, forced slap to take down the thread and buried it.
Interestingly, Deluxe loves to play the "moral" card and act like they are all about community. While this was happening, a guy named Rob Porter who worked for the White House was found to beat women, and was fired . Even Donald Trump, who fucks pornstars while his wife is pregnant then pays them hush money, wouldn't stand by that, despite the fact that the guy was a close advisor in a much more important role than "make money for a company by playing with a toy well."
But apparently DLX doesn't quite have as good of a moral compass as Donald Fuckin' Trump.

Interestingly, Deluxe loves to play the "moral" card and act like they are all about community. While this was happening, a guy named Rob Porter who worked for the White House was found to beat women, and was fired . Even Donald Trump, who fucks pornstars while his wife is pregnant then pays them hush money, wouldn't stand by that, despite the fact that the guy was a close advisor in a much more important role than "make money for a company by playing with a toy well."
But apparently DLX doesn't quite have as good of a moral compass as Donald Fuckin' Trump.

Tony Trujillo drunkenly beat a woman up in front of his kids, and the slap mob was coming for him. That put the Deluxe pigs in a weird place- they could either do the morally correct thing, and fire that scumbag that represents their brands, or the profitable thing, try to kill the rumor. They clearly told Woman Beater Trujillo that he had to go on instagram and apologize for it, but being the completely irredeemable scumbag and arrogant shithead he is, he basically doubled down. Since they are clearly money driven, they let him get away with it and chose profits over morality and are killing the thread.
Admin, a drone for the corporate pigs at deluxe, did his duty and tried to kill the thread to limit their exposure to this.
