Title: I'm making a skateboard from hemp, thoughts?

I’m in design school and decided to make a skateboard from Hemp for my final year project. I made a short questionnaire and I would really appreciate any feedback you can give. Follow the link below.

I hope to make some prototypes in the next couple of months and really hope that the idea can become a viable solution to skateboard manufacture for the progression of skateboarding.

george washington used to ride a longboard made of hemp.
ben pappas had a skateboard made of a space age maple/cocaine blend.

Oh damn! Thank you for the heads up!

I had a quick look at their info and tried to find as much on cannaboards as possible. It seems they didn't do a great job marketing or promoting the product. Also online sales and the startup world is a different beast to what it was 5-10 years ago.

not going to fill out your form, sorry, but I will say that there is no market for a heavier, costlier skate deck, and the proper stiffness is very specific and not very negotiable thing. Good luck, let us know how it goes, I'd be curious.

Hey, former industrial design student here. Seems like a cool project for a proof of concept. The questionnaire is insanely vague though, I can't imagine you getting any sensible, one-sentence answers to "why do you skate?". Actually went in to fill out the forms but those questions were way too grand to be answered while on the can
