I was lucky enough to see the book Friday at the party and it came out really good. There is a lot of good writers out there and good skateboard articles rarely end up in skateboard magazines. Jenkem is doing this right.

Anyone not gotten their copy yet? I'm over in Seattle and havent gotten mine but I figured its mostly because distance/jenkem being overwhelmed with the orders. Also if you did get your copy did you get any cool shit with it? I saw on instagram they were randomly loading it with mortal kombat cartridges and 100$ bills and shit.

got an email on the 8th saying it's on the way. the tracking number says i'll be getting it on the 19th. i'm in sf, and yeah i figured the same. i dont mind though, jenkems sick.

Mine came today. Only got a chance to read a couple of the entries, but this thing is super well done. As someone with pipe dreams of being a writer, this is the most inspriring piece of skate journalism I’ve seen in awhile.

I'm not too tech savvy but every "stock" PC i get from "the store" is lag-city, when it comes to production. Of course, with smarts you can upgrade that 'puter, yet Mac arrives "stock" capable to handle pretty much anything a skater throws at it. Upper level creative cloud shit on my basic PC is a bitch. Even the cheapest new Macs come out the box ready to rock and don't really slow. If they ain't got time to clean, they definitely ain't got time for unscheduled lags while doing basic shit. Makes sense to me

took a long time.
we broke nearly 50 glass bottles of malt liquor (40 oz)
maybe 3 hours.
it didn't come out exactly as we wanted it but it was a shot haha.
clean up was fun.
