My girlfriend and I are going on a little trip about an hour away, the first day she's gotta work, there is a skatepark near by and she's driving...

If it were me I would skate sober for a bit, then skate a little high, then get drunk after either because I suck or because I had a good day. Skating drunk is a nightmare in my opinion.

You ever have a 19 year old at a skatepark vibe you out while your sober? It's pretty lame and kinda silly.
Now think about if this ever happened when you were drunk? If it did you probably didn't notice. I say get drunk and skate by yourself all day. In my opinion, it sounds pretty nice.

Ten years ago I'd go skate the brooklyn banks half in the bag and get shit on film, this ain't my first rodeo... I only drink on the weekends since turning 30... I haven't gotten drunk and skated apart from a ramp jam here or there in probably over five years...

Welp, today is the day... I will be picking up a 12 pack of rolling rock and hitting the crowded, shitty prefab park... Hopefully if I brown bag it I won't get a open container violation.

recently I was skating while holding a brown bag with a spray can of lacquer in it for a ledge and I thought people probably think this is a beer and that guy pushing 40 on a skateboard probably thinks he looks cool. no, I knew I looked like a scumbag and that the contents of my bag were not much better than a tall can of cheap beer.
at least you’re still young and people will think it’s kinda funny instead of pathetic.
