Heard this from a Euro TM. More evidence, I saw Carroll wearing a nike sb t shirt today. Asked him where is Lakai shirt was. He mumbled "No I don't know where it is."
Bye bye bad shoes, hello good shoes.

Enough with this shit.

If they wanted to, they could. They haven't, so I doubt they want to.
-
I hope it’s not real but if so and they kept it separate and upped the quality I’d be kind of hyped really. If those dudes could get Nike money without the swoosh it’d be sick.

Reminds me of that jenkem interview with MJ where he was talking about why dudes go to the Big Company (http://www.jenkemmag.com/home/2013/07/16/the-marc-johnson-interview/):
"Big Companies may be killing skateshops and killing other brands simply out of greed, but they take care of their riders and help their riders get what they need to get done. They actually go the extra mile for their guys. It’s a really weird situation to be in as a professional skateboarder. Do you look out for yourself at the expense of a huge portion of the lifeline of skateboarding? Or do you support the lifeline, the skateshops, and the healthier relationships between the companies and the retailer and make way less money doing what you’d be doing anyway?"
Like you said, it'd be nice to see guys on non-swoosh brands getting that big money and that support for throwing themselves down shit for years so they can actually afford to live after their lucrative time in the spotlight is up. It's nice to think that the Core companies will hold it down, but I'd rather see these guys have a better support system as paid professionals too.

Come on guy..Lakai(HUF) sold out awhile back. I see their marketing strategy succeeded in having you believe that they are still skate owned(Vans pulls it off as well).

Yeah Huf bought Lakai like 2 years ago and then last year Huf got bought by some big Asian Investment firm, ready for 2020.

He's been out at Crail for awhile now. No idea who actually fired him.
