Hi Pals
Did Powell change the shield color on the Swiss ceramics ?
I’ve had them and the shields were black and now I see they’re grey.
Has me tripped out if one is not legit?
Any info is appreciated.
Thanks

I agree. Thanks. I do see other pics with black shields as well so it’s confusing. Maybe the grey are newer and a rebrand?

i think the ceramics have it stamped on the outer ring too, but for as long as ive seen them theyve been that light grey colour

The Bones Swiss Labyrinth uses black shields. Im always used to the blue shields cause I ride the Super Swiss Six.

Yeah it’s weird. Even Tactics is listing them with a black shield—like mine have. I’m beginning to think Powell changed the shield colors.

yeah they are grey now. i had to replace shields since I've had the same bearings for 7 years now. it was actually hard to find shields online. i clean them every few months and had to replace shields because of that. color doesn't bother me but the ceramics definitely worth every penny. if they ever blow out i will buy again

Thanks Carter
So yours were black shields?
You’ve noticed they changed them?
