Several weeks ago a man started a thread on our forum claiming to have developed some grip tape that had, for lack of a better word, "magical" powers that would enhance your balance and overall connection with your board. And then mayhem ensued. Questions, confusion, hate, eastern philosophy, science, Navy SEALS, Berkeley scientists, laughter and all kinds of talk followed immediately, as did a visit from Mr. Paradox himself to our offices that was enough of a head-scratcher to make us look further into this magical grip. We enlisted City am Josh Matthews as a test subject, repeated the physical tests Mr. Paradox ran on us in the office, and then dispatched Josh with two identical set-ups- one with Paradox grip and one with regular grip- for a field test at a local park.
