My favorite East Coast shop with a team containing some new and old SLAP pals, Orchard just released their first video Out of Body Experience featuring their entire team with full parts from Jerry Fowler, Fritz Mead, Kevin Coakley, Bill Orsi, Lee Berman, Jeff Valcourt, and shop co-owner Broderick Gumpright and footage from the reast of the team Joey Pepper, Jahmal Williams, Abe Pieciak, Mike Leslie, Lurker Lou, Jad Angell, and Billy Campbell in a great montage. With an average age of over 27 the team is full of great and raw East Coast/New England skating that pays respect to all eras that have come before the shop. The maker and breaker for every video is if it makes you want to go skate after watching it.

Out of Body will make you want to get out of the house and rolling on the streets as soon as Bro lands his ender. The editing and soundtrack are great and keeps you stoked and each part has great skating. Some parts you'll like more than others but that's normal. Stand outs are Jerry Fowler's opening part, he hasn't lost a step over the past few years. Kevin Coakley makes you want more, can't wait for the Blueprint video to come out to see all the gems he's saved for that one. Jeff Valencourt has some serious pop onto some rough and hacked up ground. The Kith and Kin sections have a variety of guest footage including one of Fred Gall's best lines, the backside nollieflip in the middle is so smooth it'll make butter taste like shit. Unknown Fritz Mead can kill the deep end of a pool and a rail with the same gusto and zeal as a stoned Scooby attacks a box of Scooby snacks. Behind the eyes of a killer is a kid who loves to ride his board and it shows. The ender belongs to Bro who in his own unasuming way is a skate monk. No seriously, I could write a few paragraphs on why this guy is one of the best creeps in skating but I'll spare you the diatribe and just stick to his part. He goes for it, on every trick and hill bomb you can tell that the only way he's doing to stop is on his own terms or if he falls. My only complaint is one of good timing. On my last visit I was lucky enough to see Armin Bachman (co-owner and editor of the video) editing and he showed me a rough cut of Bro's part but with a different song. I think that song would have worked much better then the current Fear track, but that's my own bias.
