Tony Manfre

His explosive and contorted power on his board have made for some landmark tricks (one of the only skaters to get multiple NBD’s at Wallenberg, and the only one to do it without the roll-in), while at the same time his strict adherence to following nothing but his own conscience and mind have made for somewhat of an unsteady career path as a sponsored and pro skater.
Undeniably skilled and undoubtedly on his own trip, Tony Manfre continues slashing his own route through the jungles of skateboarding. We sat him down for a look back at where he’s been after hitting the streets for a bunch of new photos, and Tony has also sent a selection of his own photographs and a trailer for a lengthy Super-8 movie project he’s doing by himself. Saludos to a true individual.
