Darkstar Armor Ply Chet Thomas board
Wait, this is a Darkstar board? Where are the electrical demonic viking skulls fleeing the undead army of discarded mid-80's Metallica album cover sketches while intense purple lightning storms bombard them? This could be the sickest Darkstar graphic ever! It looks more like one of those sweet Mexican blankets you see draped over the back seat of a vintage Bel Air than your standard Darkstar series. Yeah Chet, way to branch out! Plus, it's got their Armor Ply situation happening, with a sheet of carbon fiber on the top layer that makes for a very nice pop, and is also guaranteed against breakage. Darkstar
DVS Shoes X Almost Skateboards
These days it's all about the collabo. DVS and Almost join forces here to bring you the newest Daewon kicks, complete with palm board for all you nerds sitting around playing skateboard at your desk or couch. Yeah, I called you a nerd. So what. Anyhow, the shoe is tight, and made even tighter by paying homage to the best food in the world- donuts. Daewon likes donuts so you know he knows what's up. Use that palm board as a donut caddy and then I won't call you a nerd. Good shoes, too.
Element Our Mountain Series
Element's comin in hot with some rad new cruiser boards. Interesting shapes and sick graphics by L.A. artist Steven Harrington make for a fully shreddable deck that looks as good on your wall as under your feet. All in all, Element offers up a little somethin to keep the daily commute interesting, whether you're cruising to class/work in the morning or to the liquor store later that night.
Element Imaginary Foundation Series
What the hell is Element trying to pull? I'm not sure, but I think I like it. Definitely a departure from the standard Element aesthetic, the Imaginary Foundation board series features some tripped-out graphics with heavy doses of Surrealism and (maybe) some psychedelic substances thrown in the mix. Definitely a must for all you Doors of Perception types. And because it's Element, you know the wood's gonna be nice and crispy.
Gabe Morford X Vans Syndicate
Half-Cab Joining forces with photography legend Gabe Morford, Vans puts a twist on a classic with this limited-edition Half-Cab. See that strange material on the upper of the shoe? That's called CeraPrene, and it's some seriously space-age material, so you know these kicks will last for days. To top it off, you get a little bag for your bike lock should you feel inclined to join in the fixed-gear revolution. But don't worry, these classics will look sick regardless of what you're riding.
