Quality product. It's a shame they didn't bring up the story about Rileys mom

There's gotta be a large % of skaters around ages 27-32 that got into from the first video game in 1999. I know I'm one of them.

28 years old and riding a tony hawk board today!

Dude interviews really well of course, but when he's talking to skaters it flows much better.

also, Jeremy working on turbografx makes some much sense

Doing some googling
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DMQqrMHevZs&feature=youtu.be&t=59s
Jeremy Klein working on turbografx games @0:26

And I'm assuming this is the promo Tony cut because it's 1993 and the skateboard at the doorway of crappy home.

Actually saw Tony at my local park yesterday randomly. He wasn’t there for long and the park was surprisingly dead, but I was definitely star struck.

I'm a bit underwhelmed given that this entire episode was regurgitated topics from interviews in the past. I did however enjoy the banter and chemistry between host and guest so that made it enjoyable. Roger probably has some good stories from tours he'd been on with Riley's Dad.

I was really hoping for the Jim T episode being 100, still keeping my fingers crossed for it in the future. I feel like Jim would have no problem addressing the recent 10/10 thing, would have been good timing, too.

Congrats on 100 episodes, guys. I know you're reading this.

I'm sure Roger would censor him because the show isn't about negative stuff...

as he should.. the podcast isn't about the guests opinion on current events.  out of all of the possible stories that jim t could tell, I can't think of anything less I want to hear him talk about.  especially when you already know what he is going to say..

28 here. Played thps and was stoked but after I saw vov's fakie 5-0 fakie flip on that bar during that one x games I knew I had to skate. Still haven't dropped in on vert or done a fakie 5-0 yet, 18 years later

The podcast is about what the guests want to talk about. If you want to hear about first setups and sponsors that's fine, but skating is a bit bigger than that.

as far as chris roberts is concerned, I am not sure that there is.

I suppose you're right, and sorry I didn't intend to start some discussion that's been beat to death here. It just sprang to mind so I mentioned it. Jim T's episode could well be over 3 hours and I'd be totally fine with it.

Legitimately cannot think of a better person to be the face of skateboarding for the world, and I love hearing his interviews. that was pretty good listen.

I saw your mom do a ollie to cooch drop straight down the big black pole, it was gnarly. she defiantly shut that shit down

I’m 30 and the idea of getting into skateboarding because of the video game and not the other way around sounds crazy to me. I think we were  watching The End on repeat around ‘99 but the video game is just what we did when it was raining.

It gave me many a laugh when folk though they could just jump on a board and grind a telephone wire.
The memory of my Head Chef slamming on his face in front of the entire kitchen staff still make me chuckle [hated that cunt], thank you Mr Hawk.

literally thought I could drop into a vert ramp and do mctwist off the rip. my first time at a skatepark (vans atlanta, also fun fact, the only reason I knew about it is that a teacher showed me a newspaper article) I went straight to the vert ramp which I think was actually only 9ft tall, tried to drop in, having never done it before and went straight to the flat bottom

I'm 28, I already skated around a lil bit rolling off curbs and stuff but thps2 and 3 were definitely huge in getting me psyched on skating
