Is there anyway to cleand & remove dust off griptape other than gripgum?

I live in a very dusty place and new griptape turns light grey after a couple of sessions, and won't be as grippy \. My skateshop doesn't have grip gum so is there any other way?

Get a sanding belt cleaner. It's the same stuff but cheaper. I couldn't find one in hardware shops where I live so I ordered one from eBay but they should be available in some hardware shops.

sometimes I use a cup of water and an old tootbrush and blot with paper towel, and try to be careful not to get the bolts or deck wet. it works pretty well but it takes a little more work than grip gum.

Just sweep it long ways with a broom. Brush attachment of a vacuum is good too.

Most hardware stores should carry sandpaper cleaner. 
Using an air compressor with a blower attachment works even better.
I have also wondered if those compressed air cans used for cleaning computer keyboards would work
