Hahaha at Nick eating the banana.

That Cardiel challenge was gnarly!

Zions 540 with 90's board was sick!

Everyone looks pretty evenly matched, I'm rooting for Foundation though!

I was thinking king the same thing. They give real and element true to the word Legends and give their proclaimed ‘underdog’ foundation the pizza skateboard dudes. No offense to them, they’re most likely nice dudes but come the fuck on. Couldn’t even scrape up someone that most of us that actually skate have heard of?

Nah, McCrank seems to have zero ego, he’s as down to earth as it gets. Also, McCrank in his prime is one of the greatest ever, so nah to that too

My family and I were coincidentally in Philadelphia when they had the X Games where they blocked off part of downtown for the “street” competition.  My sister squeezes to the front row and Rick McCrank stopped warming up and said hi to my sister and told her how cool it was to see girls interested in skating.

I always remembered how nice he was to her.  I liked him from The End and Menikmati, but after that experience, I liked him even more.  What a fucking cool guy.

was this august '01ish? they had it at city hall? if so i was there

Omar Salazar?
Miles Silvas?
Matt Rodriguez?- him especially, he was with Cards and could have so many rad challenges with his whole persona and approach to skating
Are you a kook? If you would say this, the answer is “YES”

Great idea to bring Merlino on! This is shaping up to be the best season so far. The early 90s session was glorious.

Until I saw Merlino eating a banana I thought the Foundation guys had it easy eating pizza all day. Correct me if I'm wrong, but did Nyjah do anything this episode?

nyjah isn't doing anything but neither did madras (sp) in this episode. didn't nyjah get buck last time with the kickflip a set to land on another board, i think he'll definitely come through but i'm sure he's going to contribute things that are big points but low risk for him, big rail stuff.

episode was great. love the show. don't get the evan hate, he's exactly how i'd expected he would be. he's got that cardiel type stoke going and is going to get some points and\or take a slam on every challenge.

Nyjah's probably just skating and on his phone the whole time. I bet he's all over the thrasher edit.

Nick MerlinoI looks exactly like this dude I hate from the bar so while I was rooting for foundation I now want them to lose. Element will probably win and I’m cool with that. Real just has no personality outside of skateboarding so I can’t get into them as a team.

Really thought Nyjah was going to step up on the Cardiel rail that Mason ended up boardsliding. Seemed like a challenge that was made for him.

The run-up (or lack thereof) on that narrow ass square rail was ridiculous. Front board was nuts.

Hard to cheer for Element when they have Nyjah trying to win skateboarding, but Evan Smith is amazing, and Mason is quickly becoming one of my favorites of the new up and comes.

Nick Merlino is something else.

I disagree with Real not having any personality, although the clips aren't showing it. Chima is always one of my favorite interviews.

I'm glad Corey Glick got time off from drumming for the Strokes.  He seems like he's low-key killing it on Foundation.

It was also annoying that the Element edit featured Mason killing it, then switched to talking about how sick Evan Smith was towards the end, but that's what's called the MVP Edit.
