I hope someone else wins the 'grossest thing eaten' challenge because I'm tired of watching Evan Smith do anything other than skate in this show.

Wasn't Erick Winkowski supposed to be a mystery guest?

Evan Smith has been killing tricks all shroom'd out.

This week he did every challenge with 4 trucks, including a perfect kf crooks on a handrail and I think a back smith.

Then he back 3'd off that fucking dirt launch ramp first try.

No doubt he's a disgusting human, but he rips hard imo...

straight fucking edge

Yeah, though Even is cringey in so many ways he’s undeniably one of the best on a skateboard these days. I could smell that dogshit through my screen, so disgusting.

Merlino’s slow-mo’d Superman and Sinclair’s “I’m driving down a mountain right now” made me fucking LOL.

Agreed that Foundation are receiving the shitty end of city challenges, seems like there’s always one team every year that happens to.

I can’t believe how easy hippie ollieing (?) bump to bars are for people these days.

Merlino is a nutjob... Funny as shit and talented as hell.

That 5-0 down what I think was a 9 stair, on bearings only... How tf do you lock into that?

Then he's explaining to his dad; that he had just pissed into his own mouth, while shitting. Damn...

He seemed cool in older interviews about photography.

His "extroverted emcee (dad age)" personality is fucking cringey. He's in the same league as Schaefer and Zitzer.

why are people calling Foundation are underdogs, they have it easy:

Real - chill at a park you know and cook food
Element - have a pillow fight on a mini-ramp
Foundation - go across SF with Phelps and do tricks on Cover Spots including one into a freeway, eat while bombing a hill

Madars is Euro Garth Algar

Dumb ass Burnett literally wearing a professors graduation robes (and orgy mask) for a medieval thing talking about Ragnarok to a bunch of knights.

What’s the point of winning the ability to pick a mystery guest first if you can’t tell anything about them?  Maybe if they stood closer and you could guess based off their shoes or something.

Thank god we were spared even and jaws playing off each other, though I was bummed that Zion and Foy couldn’t be together
[close]
Lol at the comparison of days.
the kickflip wasn’t a freeway on ramp though, its on Cesar Chavez when it cuts under the freeway.
Pretty sure Burnett’s mask was a plague era doctor mask.
[close]

Ohh right - the actual plague ones were like full face ones, but that’s def what they’re playing off of.   Regardless, it’s still probably 500 years off the time of knights.

Cool to know about the Chavez spot.  That photo looked pretty sick (they all looked good).  Do you or any other SF guys know if that Cardiel rail is right outside Thrasher or something.  It seems like it’s been in every season so far
Its at Mckinley park at the top of Vermont st. on Potrero hill. Not right next to thrasher, but not too far either.
The rail is absolutely fucked. There’s like no runway. It is right near the Chavez bump though, so those back to back kind of make sense though.
It would be pretty amazing if “bomb vermont from the top, no foot drag” was a challenge. Not sure its ever been done. Hundreds of people bomb it on big wheels every Easter. Here’s a hilarious example of a person trying and failing to bomb it on a big wheel:
http://youtu.be/dSPRxIxdu88
On a board you go much faster. I’ve made like 2 turns and always end up foot dragging after that. I’ve never heard of anybody doing it, though I bet it’s possible
Are you a kook? If you would say this, the answer is “YES”
I quit skating for a time due to piling out

I wonder how much this show will increase foundation sales?

Bought my first foundation board ever yesterday, so maybe it works?

he comes across to me of a south orange county youth pastor who's ready to move into the adult congregation, but the church leaders aren't quite sure that the older church attendees will jibe with his style

too much of a spectacle.  they aren't even trying to appeal to skateboarders at this point.  its just a big gimmick to get outsiders to watch because there are more of them than us

I think it was episode 3 that I saw it a few times, anyone notice that Andy Roy pops out his dentures right before he is supposed to be on camera announcing something.  Like maybe to influence his go fund me was my thoughts.

I fucking love Nick Merlino. The premise of the series of pranks is that you can put him up to anything and he fucking goes for it with all of his heart. That’s rad.

Cole Wilson incentivized to grind up a rail do a rock fakie and grind back down for $20 bucks.

Mason Silva incentivized to do a city challenge (and something gnarly but is done every year in some form) for $100 bucks and a 12 pack.

Tells you everything you need to know about the financial disparity between Foundation and Element riders
