Powell-Peralta Flight deck - is it worth it?
« on: June 30, 2018, 06:58:23 PM »
Have you guys tried a Powell-Peralta Flight deck? If so, do you think it's worth the $80? I skated one for a few weeks and reviewed it. Hopefully this helps anyone trying to decide if they should buy one!

I've skated two, full and pulled shapes; pulled shape is weird...

They're great feeling if you like stiff poppy (AF) boards. They do last longer than a standard 7ply IF manuals are not a major part of your trick selection (or you are really good at them); I'm not great at them and razor tailed both pretty fast.

All park and no manuals? Thing will last at least two decks worth of time.

Dude, you have a face for radio and a voice for silent films. I suggest you find another form of expression because YouTube ain't gonna work out for you.

I don’t care what kind of technology is in a deck there is no way i’d ever pay $80 for a deck with a disgusting natural bottom ply.

I would be so embarrassed if my slide marks were all over the place like that. Control your board. You make me sick.

A guy showed up a the park with a Cab flight deck and it was surprisingly good.

it was a shaped deck, with 169 Indy and big Orbs wheels, but at the end, it was a pretty light set up.

Did two nosemanuals 180 and few tre flip first try with this monster, the deck was responsive and stiff.

give it a shot !

I'd actually ride one though. Can you take the graphic off?

I could only get through the first minute with that shirt collar and the grip job sealed it(and mix in a tail slide).
