The other morning I got up at 5:30am, was on the shitter (defecating) and saw he had posted an instagram story (3 am California time) where he was burning calvin klein underwear in what seemed to be a back yard bon fire.  I think it was set to Bob Dylan music.  Either the midlife crisis is real, or he is getting into Andy Kaufman-esque comedy. Either way, I am looking forward to see what happens next.

You'd be legitimately insane to work alongside MJ in any capacity.

I don't hate those graphics, but it's way to derivative of most companies out right now. At best they look like shop board versions of FA.

Startlingly accurate.

Surely a sign of success on the horizon

That post is the most graphically interesting thing to come out of anything related to Business'n'Company.

I would love to see Marc succeed with this phase of his career. He's always been a great skater, enjoi was awesome and so refreshing when it came out. I feel like we're witnessing a car crash in slow motion.

Should we start asking Marc to add Jereme Rogers to the team on his Instagram posts?

Ill give this 6 month's. MJ seems to have bad ADD. He will come out hard and then have a mental break down when he realizes its not 2007 and people have moved on and arent buying his brand and are buying Grimple Stix instead. That would fuck any company/business owner up

Holy shit.. I think that happens to me pretty much once a year.

I was going to type the same thing, his goodbye post looks better than anything the brand has done.

I was always surprised that Marc wasn’t one of the dudes to quit his major board sponsor and start his own brand in that 2013-2014 period. With his instagram posts and interviews about how stagnant the industry had become and was at the time. Had he been doing his own thing alongside FA, 3D, Mother/Quasi he could’ve been just as successful. The new Mayhew post has me thinking it may not last, but I’m hopeful.

That addidas comedy video he did is actually pretty good in hindsight

but that killer bunny graphic is so horrendously wack and (((derivative))) that it might kill his company from launch

He did the the back 40, and it sucked. It was basically corny videos like that “on your Marc” adidas video. That also didn’t last.

It wont last - the guys an egomaniac and every post on insta is tarred with a brush thats constantly referencing previous actions. When a company starts off - it doesn't present itself as the mind of a jaded skateboarder does it? and its marketing angle isnt afore mentioned skateboarders inner monolog. As if thats ever gonna work. Just shut the fuck about your past, build a team and make a video. We want your vision - not your sob story

Funnily enough, the very first time I ever heard of MJ, back in his Maple days, it was someone saying he was amazing, but a bit of a dick.
'No Mouth, you have a negative rep because you are a fan of growing your wealth off of the backs of low paid workers and brag about having bodyguards. You literally kook people for doing charity in South East Asia. Don't deny it.'
