hell yeah great stuff thusfar! my buddy and i try to send tunes like this back and forth via text all the time- i hit him with velly and he returned it with some italian disco

getting out of a music rut is always fun
jump on youtube or google and search for a) time period b) place on earth c) genre d) blog(spot) if youre looking for downloads

ie: 80s estonian funk

Cymande (i.e. danny renaud in mosaic) have some great albums, and combine funk with a rastafarian element. The krautrock band Can plays some heavy funk rhythms, but get way weirder than straightforward funk.

stuff like chic, Kool and the Gang, generic was definitely the wrong word, hence the *for lack of better word

For this Mr. Flagio tune, I went on eBay to see if I could find a copy and of course it was 200.00 or more. Apparently a rare record (though I shouldn't be surprised).
