I like to slow cook them over a few months in southwest texas heat and around 90% humidity to get mine where they can do noseblunts first T.

Move here, it works.
I've hated immigrants ever since I got here.

don't listen to these tools. bearings go in the microwave, shoes in the dishwasher, wheels in the butt.
I started getting a lot better when I went back to college and started taking a lot of math classes when I was 31.

I figured out how to figure things out better, if that makes sense.

Love the sound of my Bronson raws fresh out the microwave

Make sure the wheels are properly thawed before pressing in the scolding hot bearings.

I used to boil my bushings before I skated them because I thought that would help for some reason.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that Rodney and him came up with the Wheels in the freezer and shoes in the fridge as a joke to see if kids would do it.

High temps, humidity, and UV light all break down Urethane over time, so cool, dry storage is ideal.  Doesnít get much cooler and drier than a freezer, but, like a closet should be fine.  Just donít unwrap them and store them on a roof in Miami.  Or do, it would be interesting to see them after a year.

Hey hey... I did the same with my mom yesterday :(

On a serious note: I remember this being a 'thing' here in Belgium for a while.
I tried it once with spitfires and they shattered into pieces when I tried to ollie a gap.

They literally pulled apart around the bearings. That happend twice with spitfires (once with swirled wheels, and one time with a regular white pack...)

Got a pack of free wheels when I told them what happend though and they said it was a thing at the time and suggested not doing it anymore. reason for it was an explanation that had to do with chemistry but also with the fact that not all wheels are 'solid' some wheels have air bubbles etc and they can expand and cause 'cracks'. I don't have the mail any more, otherwise I'd post it.

Nothing but love for spitfire since then, because taking the time to reply is also customer service

(and they give me discounts and free stuff sometimes... so there's that...)

it will make them hard and will roll like shit, speaking of weird things to do with skate stuff though, the story goes that when Brent Atchley road for element, he would get a set a bearings and a heap of socks from the warehouse, pop the shields, chuck each bearing into its own sock, tie them together into like a socktopus and then chuck them in the dryer to remove all traces of oil/lube from the bearing and roll them dry... never done it, but I do love shield-less bearings

I gave mine an alcohol bath/dried them out and sprayed some dry silicon lubricant in them and it feels great. I'm sure it's horrible for the bearings or whatever but when it feels right it feels right
